I famosi drogati! La lista "stupefacente" degli arrestati...

Snoop Dogg

"buona visione"...

100. Kareem Abdul-JabbarAbdul-Jabbar, Kareem
Played basketball for 20 years in the NBA! 1998- Paid fines after surrendering a small amount of marijuana at a Toronto airport. 2000- Arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana. Said he used it to help with the nausea from migraines. Yeah Yeah. Wipe the Doritos of your lips and tell me how I can get on that bandwagon.

99. Gregg AllmanGregg Allman
Part of The Allman Brothers Band with *gasp* his brother Duane. 1976- Arrested on federal drug charges but got out of any penalties by agreeing to testify against a friend/tour manager/bodyguard. This understandably helped the rift in the band grow so Gregg did his own thing and has been sober since the mid-90s.
98. Louis ArmstrongLouis Armstrong
The puffy cheeked jazz wonder was arrested in 1931 for marijuana possession but the charge was later suspended. Isn’t lung power kind of important in that whole trumpet playing thing? Oh you’re right. I doubt he was inhaling.
97. Hoyt AxtonHoyt Axton
The country musician and his wife were both arrested in 1997 at their Montana house when they were found with approximately 500 grams of marijuana in their possession. That’s a little over a pound! His wife’s claim was she was giving Hoyt some marijuana to help ease his stress and pain following a 1995 stroke. Um..how much pain is this man in that they need to possess a pound of weed? They both were fined and their sentences were deferred.
96. Sebastian BachSebastian Bach
Lead singer for the heavy metal band Skid Row from the late 80s to 1996 (when he was fired), he was well known for his bottle throwing and wearing controversial t-shirts on stage. Not to be confused with Johann S.B. (the classical composer-even though this Bach also had some “what-was-I-thinking-then” hair), the current Bach was arrested in 2002 for two bags(about 5 grams) of marijuana and some rolling papers. I’m stuck on picturing Johann Sebastian Bach stoned out of his gourd trying to compose some trippy music on the piano.
95. Mischa BartonMischa Barton
Best known for her work in the teen hit The O.C., oh, and dating that scuzzy guy Brandon Davis for a minute, Barton was arrested in 2007. She was apparently pulled over after driving all over the road. Hello! Don’t be driving all over the road when you are drunk/high and don’t have a license. I can’t think of a better time to focus on staying between the two white lines, I mean yellow and white….you know, in your lane. She got charged with two misdemeanors and a DUI and is on probation for three years.
94. Ol’ Dirty BastardOl’ Dirty Bastard
First things first. Why advertise what kind of guy you are right in your name? Why not, like, Knight In Shining Armor? And in case anyone else thinks this, it’s down with O.P.P. not O.D.B. Naughty by Nature song. O.D.B. wasn’t involved. Moving on. This guy has a long rap(haha, get it, he raps) sheet of drug charges like in 1999 when he got arrested for some traffic violations and having crack cocaine and shortly there after for having 20 vials of crack and some marijuana. Oh, and in case this is on Jeopardy, he was the first person arrested for being a convicted felon wearing a bulletproof vest under a new California law. I guess once you’re a convicted felon, your chest is open territory for bullets. 2000-he escaped from his court-mandated drug treatment facility and spent one month as a fugitive. He ended up dying in 2004 from an accidental drug overdose.
93. Chuck BerryChuck Berry
The singer found himself in a few run-ins with the law over the years and was no stranger to prison but it wasn’t anything related to drugs. Armed robbery, underage prostitutes and some tax evasion. You know. The usual rock n’ roll stuff. 1990- his house was raided because authorities heard he was dealing cocaine. They confiscated marijuana and hashish and pornographic videotapes and films but charges against him were later dropped. Just for fun – go find and download “My Ding-a-ling.” Just try and not to sing a long.
92. Bo BiceBo Bice
The long haired American Idol runner up lived up to the stereotype his tresses implied by getting arrested for marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication in 2003. He stayed out of jail by agreeing to enter a drug program. A haircut should be step 1. Just two years earlier, he had been arrested for scoring cocaine in a strip club. Another stereotype. So what now Bo? Hit us with another stereotype.
91. Notorious B.I.G.Notorious BIG
Tidbit I didn’t know until today: I believe the B.I.G. stands for “business instead of games.” Maybe I’m just out of the loop on that one and it’s old news but just in case you were in the dark like me, there you go. 1991-before fame hit- arrested for dealing cocaine and spent 9 months in jail waiting to make bail. 1996- arrested for having 50 grams of marijuana and four automatic weapons. Arrested again in the same year for being caught smoking weed in a car. Sadly, the rapper’s life was taken in 1997 before some of charges against him could be resolved.
90. David BowieDavid Bowie
The singer with the ever-changing persona was arrested in 1976 for marijuana possession and had about half a pound on him. The maximum sentence he would have received was 15 years but the charges were later dropped and Bowie continued doing his thing. Good thing since his heavy cocaine use through the years brought out quite an interesting side of the artist. Ziggy Stardust anyone?
89. Bobby BrownBobby Brown
Man the late 80′s were good to Bobby Brown. First with New Edition then his own solo gig. Brown was on top of the world. Along with that whole lifestyle came, of course, the drugs. 1995- he checked into the Betty Ford rehab clinic but this wasn’t the first stint in rehab and none of the stays seemed to help. He was still arrested multiple times for drunk driving, cocaine use, marijuana possession, and multiple parole violations. 2000-two months in jail after refusing to take a drug test. 2002-marijuana possession. He’s got a nice collection of mugshots that I’m sure he has framed next to a pic of him with his trademark fade haircut.
88. James BrownJames Brown
The name is synonymous with a cape and big hair. His presentation was sometimes more exciting than the music itself and that excitement carried over to other parts of his life. 1988-part of a high-speed car chase along the Georgia-South Caroline border that ended in his conviction of carrying an unlicensed pistol, assaulting a police officer, and other drug-related and driving offenses. He served 3 years of a six year sentence. 1998- arrested on charges of marijuana possession and unlawful use of a firearm- came one week after leaving the hospital to get treated for a painkiller addiction. His last words before he died in 2006 were “I’m hopping on the night train.”
87. Orlando BrownOrlando Brown
Actor best known for his role on “That’s So Raven”. 2007- pulled over for driving without his lights on. Police found 9 grams of marijuana in the car which he claimed to belong to friends. No word on that story line will be incorporated into any future Disney productions.
86. Lenny BruceLenny Bruce
An obscene comic born well before his time,(he was arrested for obscenity because he said “cocksucker”) Bruce’s obscenity wasn’t just part of his act, it was a legal problem. But seriously. Who doesn’t hear “cocksucker” and laugh? While not being obscene, he was smoking weed apparently because he was arrested for possession of marijuana in 1961 and again in 1963.
85. Marcus CambyMarcus Camby
The 6’11″ basketball player( honestly, what else would he do? paint ceilings?) was second overall in the first round of the 1996 NBA draft and went to the Toronto Raptors. 1997-arrested for marijuana possession after being pulled over for a traffic stop. (Does anyone else see the connection in traffic stops and marijuana possession arrests? People, keep the weed in a better spot! I know these cops aren’t tearing up the car a la the border patrol.) He agreed to a deal that would dismiss all charges against him after 16 hours of community service. (16 hours? I think some high school students have to do that to graduate. But hey, it’s cool. Another unknown lesson in high school: preparation for marijuana possession punishment.)
84. Jennifer CapriatiJennifer Capriati
She started out as a child prodigy in tennis then decided to shoplift and smoke weed in a moment of teen angst. 1994- arrested on marijuana possession. She came back to be a kick butt tennis star even though her age is starting to be a problem now. (I definitely need to get a job where my peak working time is over after 30!) People seemed to forget about the weed and shoplifting and love her all over again when she made her comeback. See Winona Ryder, there’s hope for you after all.
83. Michael CarrollMichael Carroll
Michael used to be a binman(British talk for trashman-I like their version better) and then hit it big in the lotto, winning $15.4 million.(I translated that from pounds because I’m not sure how to type that symbol and I’m pretty sure you can get on a money converter website if you want the full story in British.) Anyways, Michael went a bit crazy buying everything he could and was rarely seen without some bling on. 2006-arrested for possession of nearly $2000 worth of cocaine. Escaped a jail sentence but had to go to a 12 month drug testing and treatment center. Sounds like the party is over because when he got out of jail, he had to take out a loan to maintain his new lifestyle. See. Now aren’t you glad you haven’t won the lotto yet!
82. Aaron CarterAaron Carter
Every time I hear this kid’s name I think two things: Lindsay Lohan/Hilary Duff love triangle and that stupid “Aaron’s Party(Come Get it)” crap of a song that gets stuck in my head. 2008-February- he was pulled over for speeding and less than 2 ounces of marijuana were found in the car. Does anyone else remember that show House of Carters? I think I would need more than 2 ounces to deal with that family!
81. Neal CassadyNeal Cassady
Author. 1958- offered to share a small amount of marijuana with an undercover cop in a San Fransisco night club and ended up in San Quentin prison for two years. Be stingy with that marijuana! Especially in public.

80. Orlando CepedaOrlando Cepeda
Baseball Player. 1975- after retirement, got arrested while picking up a marijuana shipment in San Juan airport. Ouch. If it’s labeled as a “shipment,” it couldn’t have been a few ounces. He was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment but served 10 months. Really, if you round up, carry the 1 add 3, you get 5 years. It makes sense. He was on probation the rest of the time and was cool until 2007 when he was arrested for having a “usable amount” of marijuana.

79. Ray CharlesRay Charles
The legendary musician was arrested in 1958 and 1961 for heroin possession and in 1964 was arrested for heroin and marijuana possession at the Boston airport. 1965-arrested for heroin possession after being addicted for almost 20 years. He avoided jail by getting clean at a clinic in Los Angeles and spent a year on parole.
78. Adam ClaytonAdam Clayton
The lesser known bassist of the band U2, Clayton was arrested in 1989 while in Dublin for carrying a small amount of marijuana but got out of conviction by making a large donation to charity.
77. Eldridge CleaverEldridge Cleaver
Cleaver started out things on a bad foot when he was sent to reform school as a teenager because he was caught stealing a bike and dealing marijuana. The Black Panther was arrested in 1954 and sent to the California State Prison at Soledad for 30 months on marijuana possession charges. He was released in 1957 but went back the following year on attempted murder charges. He got out in 1966 and kept up the in and out of jail pattern for the rest of his life. In 1998, he was placed on probation for burglary convictions and cocaine possession. He died that same year from unknown causes.
76. Joe CockerJoe Cocker
With his gritty voice and interesting moves on stage, Cocker is an icon of his time. His style is quite unique and John Belushi used to do a close to perfect imitation of him on “Saturday Night Live.” In 1972, Cocker and six of his entourage were arrested for marijuana possession in Australia and kindly asked to leave the country. This caused an uproar with the Aussie Cocker fans and sparked much debate over the topic of the legalization of marijuana. As far as I know, Australia is still weed-free but good job Joe Cocker in almost causing it to be legal.
75. Jason CookJason Cook
The “Days of Our Lives” “actor” (sorry- dope/soap operas don’t do much for me) was arrested in 2005 for public intoxication and drug possession in Des Moines, Iowa. The best part is that all charges were dropped- no fine, no anything. Turns out that the police forgot to notarize the ticket against him and therefore it was invalid. Talk about a lucky day. I wouldn’t plan a wild drug and alcohol adventure to Des Moines though because I doubt that error happens twice.
74. CoolioCoolio
The rapper, known by most people by his crazy hair, was arrested in 1998 for marijuana possession but those charges were dropped. Guess he’s living a gangsta’s paradise.
73. Frank CorderFrank Corder
In a true you-can’t-make-this-up story, Corder crashed a plane kamikaze style on the White House lawn in 1994. His life had been unraveling following an arrest in 1993 on two drug charges. One was dropped and the other resulted in a 90-day suspended sentence but the most unfortunate next event was that his wife passed away after battling cancer. Friends believe the location was merely a publicity stunt and not a true aim at President Clinton. The Clinton’s weren’t home anyways thanks to renovations on the White House but I’m sure waking up to a plane crashing in your front yard would be enough to scare almost anyone.
72. David CrosbyDavid Crosby
The Crosby, Stills and Nash singer (I wonder what the story is behind that band name) had a lot of problems with drug addiction in the 70s and 80s. He was arrested multiple times on various drug charges and shortly thereafter was arrested again for possessing heroin, cocaine, pot and codeine — while on bail awaiting cocaine charges. Walking away from rehab was the last straw and he was ordered to Texas State Prison in Huntsville where he stayed for 9 months. 2004- arrested for having a loaded .45-caliber handgun and a small quantity of marijuana.
71. Macaulay Culkinmacaulay culkin
Everyone’s favorite child actor hit a rough note in 2004 when he was arrested for possession of 17 grams of marijuana and prescription drug Xanax. No need to scream though. He only had to do drug counseling.
70. Tony CurtisTony Curtis
The actor who shared the screen with Marilyn Monroe in “Some Like it Hot” found himself in hot water in 1970 when he was arrested for marijuana possession at the Heathrow airport.
69. Trick DaddyTrick Daddy
The rapper was involved in a string of incidents like picking up a drug possession charge in 2003 while at a high school football game. I’m sure those high school students sell it cheaper but come on now. He was looking at a long time in the slammer but managed to get out of it by agreeing to do a series of lectures that would educate kids about the danger of drugs. No word as if the series hit the same school where he was arrested.
68. D’AngeloD’Angelo
2005-arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated. He plead guilty and lost some money and his driver’s license out of the ordeal.
67. Mitch DanielsMitch Daniels
The current governor smoked pot in college and is cool with that being public knowledge. He was arrested for possession of marijuana while at Princeton in 1970 and spent two nights in jail. If that’s the worst skeleton in his closet, I’d say he’s good.
66. Bob DenverBob Denver
Gilligan from “Gilligan’s Island”(why didn’t they just build a boat?) found himself in a bit of a pickle in 1998 when he was arrested for having a parcel of marijuana delivered to his house. At the time, he thought he was in an episode of the show and said that “Mary Ann”(Dawn Wells) sent him the package. He must have realized what he was doing because he refused to name her in court and said “some crazy fan must have sent it.” More marijuana and other paraphernalia was found in his house and he pleaded no contest to the charges earning him six month’s probation.
65. Neil DiamondNeil Diamond
1976- a raid on the singer’s house produced less than an ounce of marijuana. the arrest was expunged from his record when Diamond agreed to attend a six-month drug aversion program. “OK class. Pick up your “pot” -which we all know is really oregano- and let’s roll up our doobies. See, that wasn’t as exciting was it. Let’s not do the real thing either. Class dismissed.”
64. Andy DickAndy Dick
The comic is known for his wacky behavior and definitely made headlines in 1999 by driving into a telephone pole and getting charged with charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and hit-and-run driving. (Whew, what a list.) He completed an 18-month drug diversion program(same or different as the aversion program I wonder) and got the charges against him dropped. This isn’t drug related it’s just funny. In 2007 in Columbus, Ohio, he was arrested for urinating on the sidewalk and a building. I so hope he was sober at the time. It would make the story even better. He was also supposedly intoxicated while performing his stand up act and groped patrons at a comedy club. That makes for a good story though. “So I was at the comedy club and up walks Andy Dick and grabs my junk….”
63. DMXDMX
2000- arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, failure to signal, driving without a license, failure to notify the DMV of an address change, and possession of marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, and Percocet while driving. He didn’t show up to court which resulted in a warrant for his arrest. He turned himself in but still got 15 days in jail and a $400 fine and was charged an additional $250 for bringing marijuana in his cigarette pack. 2008- arrested for possession of drugs and weapons. In a search of his house they found drugs, weapons and mistreated pit bull puppies. He barricaded himself in his room before giving up.
62. Snoop DoggSnoop Dogg
The guy sings about drugs enough so it’s no surprise it carries over to his own life. 2006- arrested for parking a loading zone and found in possession of marijuana and a firearm. He was released on a $35,000 bond. He was arrested again a few months later for the same two things in his possession after performing on the “Tonight Show.” Better stick to the gin and juice man.
61. DonovanDonovan
What a great claim to fame. In 1966, he became the first high-profile British pop star to be arrested for possession of marijuana and was refused entry into the U.S. until late 1967 because of it.

60. Faith EvansFaith Evans
2004- found marijuana and cocaine during a traffic stop and her and her husband were arrested. She completed a 13-week drug rehab program to have charges dropped.

59. David FaustinoDavid Faustino
“Bud” from “Married With Children” was arrested in 2007 when he was found with a gram of marijuana in his pocket. It was during a traffic stop and he tried to be sneaky and climb out of the window but wasn’t clever enough for the cops. The charges were later dropped however when the District Attorney was unable to produce a witness that could identify Faustino.
58. Freddy FenderFreddy Fender
Musician. 1960- he and a band member arrested for marijuana possession and he spent almost three years in the scary Louisiana State Penitentiary Angola prison farm until he was helped out by the Governor Jimmie Davis. Davis was also a songwriter and musician and requested that Fender stay away from music while on probation as a condition of his release. Aren’t the best songs written in those hard times in life? He gets released from a scary 3 years in jail and can’t sing about it. That governor was a jerk.
57. Flavor FlavFlavor Flav
Flav was big into drugs, specifically crack, and had his license suspended at least 43 times! During a fight with his baby mama, he got picked and charged with possession of narcotics. He tried rehab a bunch of times (maybe he could have told Lindsay Lohan that rehab is for quitters and doesn’t work anyways) and racked up some more drug arrests like one in 1996. Supposedly, he is clean as of 2004 but I wish drugs could explain his crazy behavior on “Flavor of Love 192.” “yeeeeah booooyyyyee”
56. Mark FoleyMark Foley
The former House of Representatives member, not to be confused with the motivation speaker on “SNL” Matt Foley, got in trouble for marijuana possession but the charges were later dropped. His real trouble came years later when he was forced to resign in 2006 because he sent some inappropriate emails to a former congressional page asking for pics. Just ask in person silly. Don’t get that in writing!
55. Kevin GageKevin Gage
The actor from “Heat” and also ex-husband to Kelly Preston was arrested in 2003 for cultivating marijuana even though he had a California-issued license for medicinal marijuana. He was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison. He went in September 2003 and was released September 2005. Guess those licenses are pretty useless.
54. Jerry GarciaJerry Garcia
The Grateful Dead singer was raided/busted many times during the 60s, 70s and 80s and finally went to rehab after the band staged an intervention in the mid 80s. The band and crew members were arrested multiple times for drug possession over the years.
53. Art GarfunkelArt Garfunkel
Musician of Simon and Garfunkel. You can’t have a boring life with such a such last name. Arrested in early 2004 and again in August 2005 and paid fines both times.
52. Boy GeorgeBoy George
Eclectic singer George, well of the Boy variety, was arrested in 1986 for marijuana possession and made headlines in 2005 when he lied about a burglary in his home and the police that arrived found cocaine in the house. He was put on trash duty as punishment and could barely pick anything up because of all the photogs surrounding him.
51. Al Gore IIIAl Gore III
The former Vice President’s son was found with a partial marijuana cigarette and a baggie with more weed in 2003. The younger Gore entered a substance-abuse program that included 12 weeks of urine testing, community service and substance-abuse counseling. In 2007, more marijuana was found in a traffic stop.
50. Woody HarrelsonWoody Harrelson
1996- arrested for planting 4 marijuana hemp seeds in rural Kentucky because he was challenging a law that didn’t distinguish between marijuana and hemp. the charge was dismissed, probably because they were confused and didn’t know the difference between the two either.
49. George HarrisonGeorge Harrison
Don’t worry all the Beatles made the list. This Beatle was arrested along with his soon-to-be wife on his wedding day in 1969 on marijuana possession charges. No word as to whether or not the arresting officers made it into the wedding album.
48. Don HenleyDon Henley
The Eagles singer was arrested in 1980 and charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine and Quaaludes, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was fined, put on two years’ probation and ordered to attend drug counseling.
47. Dennis HopperDennis Hopper
In 1999, the 64-year-old actor was found in possession of marijuana at the Calgary airport. The judge decided that because of Hopper’s cooperation, his age and the small amount found that all charges would be dropped. So when you hit 90, go crazy. Then pull the age card when you get before the judge.
46. Whitney HoustonWhitney Houston
2000-marijuana was found in her and her husband, Bobby Brown’s bag at an airport in Hawaii. The couple left before the authorities got there. She pleaded no contest and had to pay a few thousand dollars to a youth-orientated anti-drug program in place of community service. She also went to rehab in 2004 and 2005.
45. Robert IlerRobert Iler
The “Sopranos” son was arrested in 2001 for armed robbery and marijuana possession and received three year’s probation. Didn’t he learn anything? Get the mob to do your dirty work.
44. Allen IversonAllen Iverson
The basketball player was charged with marijuana possession in 1997 and got community service out of it.
43. JadakissJadakiss
2004, 2006- marijuana possession that resulted in fines
42. Mick JaggerMick Jagger
The “Rolling Stone” was arrested in 1967 and 1970 for marijuana possession but neither resulted in jail time. Just a side note: these guys have gone on tour 40 times since 1963!

41. Haley Joel OsmentHaley Joel Osment
2006- arrested for marijuana possession and driving under the influence. He not only saw dead people, he also saw three years probation, 60 hours in an alcohol rehabilitation and education program, a fine of $1500, and a minimum requirement of 26 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings over a six-month period. I’d rather just see the dead people.

The basketball player was arrested in 2005 for having cocaine and 60 grams of marijuana and was arrested again in 2006 for marijuana possession.
39. Lil KimLil Kim
The rapper known for her outfits, or lack of outfits really, was arrested for marijuana possession after a raid at Notorious B.I.G.’s house in 1996. She also went to jail in 2005 for perjury charges. Hopefully she’s now found a stylist that buys the WHOLE outfit and not just part of it.
38. Suge KnightSuge Knight
The former CEO of Death Row Records has had many run-ins with the police which has resulted in multiple prison sentences. Most of the charges were related to violence like the one where he was caught on camera in Las Vegas fighting a guy who supposedly went on to shoot and kill Tupac Shakur. Because it was a probation violation, Knight was sentenced to 9 years in prison. He went back to jail for violence in 2002 and 2003. In 2005, he was pulled over for making an illegal u-turn and was found in possession of marijuana. He was released shortly thereafter.
37. Queen LatifahQueen Latifah
1996-arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and a loaded hand gun. The result was a fine and two year’s probabtion.
36. Timothy LearyTimothy Leary
The psychologist big into the use of LSD was arrested in 1965 for possession of marijuana when trying to cross into the U.S. from Mexico. His daughter was actually carrying the stuff but Leary took responsibility for it. Under the Marihuana Tax Act( I have no idea why we went from spelling it with an “h” to a “j”), Leary was sentenced to 30 years in prison, given a $30,000 fine and ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment. (I wonder if he could have requested a colleague since he worked in the field.) He appealed the case stating the act was unconstitutional and in violation of his Fifth Amendment rights. In 1968, he was arrested again for possession of two marijuana roaches which he claims were planted on him by the arresting officer. The Marihuana Tax Act was overturned by the Supreme Court in 1969 which overturned his 1965 conviction. In 1970, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 1968 offense and was given a psychological evaluation when he got there. Having designed most of the tests himself, he answered them in a way that would make him seem conforming and conventional with an interest in forestry and gardening. He escaped from prison in 1970 and was on the run until 1973 when he was arrested in Afghanistan when deplaning. He tried to get political asylum from the UK but that didn’t happen and he was held on $5 million bail, the highest amount in U.S. history to that point. He was placed in solitary confinement in Folsom Prison and looking at 95 years there but was released by Governor Jerry Brown in 1976.
35. John LennonJohn Lennon
1968- arrested with his wife Yoko Ono for marijuana possession. The charge nearly cost him the right to live in the U.S.
34. Jeremy LondonJeremy London
This guy was on “7th Heaven” and also in “Mallrats” and was arrested in 2004 for vandalism, marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license. On the DVD commentary for “Mallrats,” London admits to being under the influence of marijuana throughout the filming.
33. Method ManMethod MAn
2007- When pulled over for a traffic stop, smoke poured out of his rolled down window. He had two blunts and a bag of marijuana in plain sight, which he later tried to make up for by doing several public service announcements. Must be nice. I’m pretty very few “regular” folk could get away with doing public service announcements to make up for having marijuana. It should be on the list though I think. Would you like a fine, jail time, community service or a starring role in a public service announcement?
32. Bob MarleyBob Marley
Man, I was surprised when I saw his name on the list. No, not really. Although he did only get arrested once in 1977 for marijuana possession so he must have hid it in his drugs after that.
31. Linda McCartneyLinda McCartney
Paul McCartney’s missus was arrested in 1975 for marijuana possession but charges were later dropped. In 1984, her and Paul were arrested in Barbados for having marijuana and were fined $100 each. They flew to the Heathrow Airport and she was arrested again for possession. She later said that hard drugs were disgusting but marijuana is “pretty lightweight.”
30. Paul McCartneyPaul McCartney
1980- Arrested going through customs in Japan when 7.7 ounces of marijuana was found in his luggage. He had previously been denied a visa to the country after two convictions of drug possession in Europe and if he had been tried and convicted, he would have spent 7 years in prison. He was released and deported after 10 days in jail and told he wouldn’t be welcome in the country again. He played a concert there 10 years later so I guess they changed their minds.
29. Matthew McConaugheymatthew mcconaughey
1999- Police responded to a noise complaint at 2:30am and found McConaughey naked and playing the bongos. They also found marijuana but charges were later dropped. He was charged $50 for the noise violation though.
28. George MichaelGeorge Michael
February 2006- arrested for marijuana possession and was cautioned by the police before being released. October 2006- arrested when found semi-conscious in his car and in the possession of marijuana. He was released on bail and pled guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. He was banned from driving for two years and had to do community service.
27. Katie MorganKatie Morgan
The porn star initially entered the porn industury as a way to pay off her sizable bail and plea bargain. She was arrested in 2000 for transporting over 100 pounds of marijuana from Mexico into the United States. Um…that’s pretty serious to bring your body weight in an illegal substance into another county. I wonder if porn directors go looking for hot chicks in trouble like lawyers chase ambulances. This is my favorite from her list of movies: “Whore of the Rings 2.” Those porn film names are so hilarious!
26. Randy MossRandy Moss
2002-At a traffic stop, a small amount of marijuana was found and he bumped the officer with his car knocking her over. Not exactly sure what he was trying to accomplish there. He pled guilty and had to pay a $1,200 fine and perform 40 hours of community service.

Real fun came in 2004 when he was sentenced to six years in prison after entering a guilty plea for forcing his hairstylist to perform sex acts. He also admitted to extortion. I guess the only question that comes to my mind is is it really necessary for him to have a hairstylist?
23. Willie NelsonWillie Nelson

He was nicknamed the “Night Stalker” for killing people at night in California during the 80s. He was found guilty of 13 counts of murder, 5 attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults and 14 burglaries. He is currently chilling on death row.

19. Paul ReubensPaul Reubens
Better known by his character name “PeeWee Herman”, Reubens was arrested in 1971 for possession and then famously was arrested for indecent exposure in 1991. I still think of him every time I hear the song “Tequila.” (You know, the dance on the bar with the white platform shoes in “PeeWee’s Big Adventure.) Classic.
18. David Lee RothDavid Lee Roth
The singer who rocked the spandex while rocking out with Van Halen was arrested in 1993 in New York City’s Washington Square Park for buying pot from an undercover police officer. While in jail, he was caught with marijuana and confined for 23 hours a day as punishment. He only stayed in jail for 11 months of his 1.5-4.5 year sentence and is the only artist to ever have an album at number one on the Billboard 200 while serving a prison sentence.
13. Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen
When the actor was 16, he was arrested for marijuana possession on his mother’s birthday. His parents bailed him out and his dad took him directly to church. The charges were dismissed and coincidentally the judge was a friend of the family.

9. Thurman ThomasThurman Thomas
Buffalo Bills Player. 2004- arrested at a hotel because guests alerted police that they smelled marijuana and thought Thomas had drugs in his possession. They were right but geez was it necessary to be tattletales?

6. Marcus VickMarcus Vick
His name sounds familiar because his older brother Michael Vick got in trouble recently for dog fighting/mistreatment. This Vick was arrested in 2004 during a traffic stop for speeding, marijuana possession and contributing to the delinquency of minors. Quit it Vick. Let those minors become delinquents by themselves.

4. Dionne WarwickDionne Warwick
The singer was held at the Miami International Airport in 2002 after a case containing 11 marijuana cigarettes was found in her carry on bag. Warwich was unsure how the marijuana got in her bag (listen to those annoying announcements at the airport and watch your luggage Dionne!) and the charges were dropped when she agreed to perform a series of public service announcements regarding illegal drugs.
3. Lil WayneLil Wayne
2006- Employees say they saw a gallon size bag of weed in his room but police report only came back with 60 pills of Alprazolama(used for anxiety disorders and panic attacks), 59 hydrocodone pills and two small burnt joints of marijuana. 2007- Charged with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana when caught smoking by his bus. 1. Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse
2007- The year’s best trainwreck was arrested with her husband in Norway for marijuana possession and were released after paying a fine of 3850 kroner(around $800). She was supposedly “duped” into confessing but fluent English speakers handled the confession so it’s hard to say what she’s referring to. Winehouse was denied a U.S. visa because of “use and abuse of narcotics”, but was later issued one. Let’s leave her across the pond. She’s disturbing enough peace over there.
